A very fine example of an antique live steam double acting horizontal mill engine by F.C. Jury. Circa 1900. The model built from brass, bronze and steel with an aged and untouched patina. The steam inlet pipe having a regulator and having slide valve gear. There are a number of small brass cup oilers over the model and there is a main drive pulley off the crank. The model is presented and mounted on a finely polished solid serpentine base with mahogany platform.

The model being 43cm in length and having an 8 inch diameter flywheel.The model is thought to be a presentation piece and is finished to a very high standard, it could possibly have been built by an instrument maker.
